The Federation of Indian Micro and Small & Medium Enterprises (FISME) has asked the finance minister that the recovery of the money owed to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) by corporate debtors should be brought in the ambit of corporate insolvency resolution process (CIRP) costs.

The discussions focussed on a road ahead for e-invoicing, new return system and feedback, e-way bill linking with Fastag, pendency of refunds, linkage of Aadhaar to GST registration, enforcement module use without overreach and QR codes.

A turnover-based classification will allow MSMEs to investment more in tech. This will help improve their competitiveness.

The Micro Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME) sector has better adaptability to cater to the export market due to its smaller size and can adapt to market change sooner said Union Minister of Commerce and Industry & Railways, Piyush Goyal, during a meeting held in New Delhi yesterday to discuss with MSME associations various industry issues and examine the steps that may be taken to resolve them.

Business Bureau : Union Minister for MSME, Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari on Sunday said that the participation of women entrepreneurs in country’s MSME sector is growing. He was interacting with the organisers of the Swayampurna Expo 2020 being held here. Gadkari visited the expo to boost the morale of women entrepreneurs.
