Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Minister of Education, recently visited the garment manufacturing facility of the Tiruppur Exporters’ Association (TEA) at Netaji Apparel Park, Tiruppur.
During the visit, the Minister toured the state-of-the-art production units, interacted with the skilled workforce, and gained insights into the sustainable and technology-driven practices adopted by TEA to meet global standards.
The minister appreciated TEA for the efforts made to create a modern, efficient, and ethical work environment, along with the commitment to empowering workers through continuous training and skill development.
“This visit marks a proud moment for us and for the entire Tiruppur textile community, as it reflects the growing recognition of the vital role our industry plays in the nation’s economic and employment landscape,” noted TEA members.
