Chennai: India can achieve a three-fold "aspirational" increase in its engineering exports to reach $200 billion by 2025, if concerted efforts are made by the government and industry to develop a conducive ecosystem, and ensuring inputs at competitive prices, according to an EEPC India-Deloitte strategy paper.

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan’s textile and clothing exports rose by two per cent year-on-year to $8.9 billion in the first eight months of current fiscal year, the Pakistan Bureau of Statistics (PBS) reported on Friday.
The rupee appreciated by 20 paise to 69.14 against the US dollar in opening trade Friday, driven by sustained foreign fund inflows and higher opening of domestic equities.
