Tiruppur’s NIFT-TEA college of knitwear fashion and AIC NIFT TEA incubation centre for textiles and apparels, and Textile Excellence have signed a MOU to jointly organise the twin exhibitions, DyeChem World and KnitProcess, in Tiruppur, from October 22-24, 2021. The event will be held at the NIFT-TEA compound SIDCO, Tiruppur. SDC has joined as a co-organiser.
The rise in cotton yarn prices and intermittent supply of cotton yarn in the past two months have affected small exporting units in Tiruppur, according to the Tiruppur Exporters Association (TEA), which recently, in a letter to finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman, said lack of trade pacts with major importing countries and regions is also a dampener.
