Union Minister of Commerce and Industry Piyush Goyal on Wednesday said that India is looking for new export markets.
Coimbatore: In a bid to attract more beneficiaries to the unemployed youth employment generation programme (UYEGP), the State government has increased the investment limit for trading and service sectors from Rs 1lakh and Rs 3lakh respectively to Rs 5lakh. Under the scheme, unemployed youth are offered 25% of the project cost as loan subsidy to start small businesses.
India will continue to seek new markets through trade negotiations, including the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal said on Wednesday. He also said the detractors of proposed trade deals should maintain silence until the framework is made public.
"CAIT today took the matter of unethical business practices of Amazon and Flipkart and other e-commerce companies to the court of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and in a communication while briefing him of the crucial issues pertaining to business model of both the companies has sought his immediate intervention," a CAIT statement said.
