Rajlaxmi is a company established by Surat’s Jain Offset Print, which bagged a PrintWeek Award accolade in the Packaging Converter of the Year (General) category in 2016.
Rajlaxmi triggers the Jain Offset’s diversion into commercial printing, and support its packaging business.
It was 2017, when the promoters took a decision to start Rajlaxmi, largely a new commercial print venture that offered catalogues that form part of the textile business, and cater to its existing clients.
A slew of investments followed. Rajlaxmi installed an RMGT 920 four-colour press plus coater, a T9 platesetter and India’s first Konica Minolta Accuriopress 6100.
Smallish and pretty much perfectly formed, Rajlaxmi has boosted its turnover by 194.30%, which is highest in the category with a corresponding increase in profit before tax by 724.19%, again a highest in the category. While the fixed asset has dropped marginally by 11.91%, the net current asset has seen a 100% growth.
The overall net worth during the period has increased by 191.35%, being the highest in the category.
Our auditors say, the company’s return on capital, too, has increased, while the corresponding increase in profit as percentage of sales by 11.42% was the highest in the category.
