At the Magnificent MP Summit, the industrialists invited in the session 'Textile and Garment Manufacturing: Stitching for Young India' gave several important suggestions today.
The suggestions given by various main establishments connected to the industry include more incentives to new entrepreneurs, increase in participation of women entrepreneurs and expansion of rail and other transport facilities.
The Additional Chief Secretary Energy Mohammad Suleman, while addressing the session as coordinator said that the Chief Minister Kamal Nath is paying a special attention to give boost to this sector. The CM has directed to develop four new textile parks in Indore, Chhindwara, Ratlam and Bhopal districts of the state. These parks are to be developed in an area of about 140 hectares. Efforts are also being made to encourage small entrepreneurs in the traditional textile industry of Madhya Pradesh. He said that the Chief Minister will be apprised of the suggestions received in the Magnificent MP.
Suleman said that Madhya Pradesh is not only geographically but also culturally the heart land of the country. He informed about the infrastructure facilities available for industrial purpose in Madhya Pradesh along with land, container depot, air and rail facilities. The session was conducted by the Journalist Nidhi Razdan.
During the session, Gaurav Uppal of Richa Global Exports, Gurgaon said that the Chief Minister Kamal Nath is committed to promote industries. The Efforts of the Chief Minister will yield very good results.
In the session, Leading industrialists connected to the textile industry including Chairman of Trident Group Rajinder Gupta, Shri Sachit Jain of Vardhman Textiles, Shreyaskar Chaudhary of Pratibha Synthetics, MD of Gokul Das Group Shiva Ganpathi, Akhilesh Rathi and others expressed their views. Sachit Jain said that the textile industry has become important for positive transformation in the economy today.
