JAMMU, May 6: The J&K Branch of the NIRC of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India organized a seminar on GST Annual Returns and GST Audit.
CA Tarun Arora and CA Navya Malhotra were guest speakers on topics of GST Annual Return and GST Audit report to be furnished in form GSTR 9 GSTR 9C respectively.

The first technical session was deliberated by CA Tarun Arora who gave a detailed point-wise presentation on GST annual return which needs to be furnished in Form GSTR 9 by GST registered persons.

During the second technical session CA Navya Malhotra made a presentation on conduct of GST Audit which needs to be furnished by the auditors in form GSTR 9C.

Both the speakers also addressed various queries raised by the members on the subject.CA Shalay Razdan, Chairman of the branch welcomed and introduced the guests. He said that GST Registered persons having aggregate annual turnover of more than two crores need to furnish their annual returns & GST audit reports before 30th of June 2019 for the financial year 2017-18 & hardly any time was left for the filing of the same.

CA Nakul Saraf, Secretary of the Branch conducted the proceedings of the seminar & CA Lalit Kumar Gupta, Vice Chairman of the branch presented the formal vote of thanks.

JKCASA Chairman of the branch CA Arvind Jamwal along with a large number of chartered accountants & CA students were present on the occasion.
