A Leicester fabric company which is part of a wider £26m-turnover group is seeking permission to extend its factory in the city.

Colours Dyers (UK) has applied to Leicester City Council for the two-storey extension to provide more manufacturing space at its Greenhithe Road base.

The plans have been drawn up by Leicester-based Kunstiler Designs Architect.

The company is part of Fashion Fabric Group which is also headquartered in Leicester.

A final decision is expected to be made in the coming months.
