The GRACIOUS KNITS was Established in May 1997 by Mr P. GOPI to manufacture high quality knitted fabric. Specializing in 3 threads Fleece fabric. The Company also manufactures other type of fabrics such as Single jersey, Rib, Interlock Etc.

GRACIOUS KNITS has as annual production of 4000 tonnes Fleece fabric as job work. The unit manufactures 20 gauge Fleece in the range of 17” to 40” dia. The Unit also manufactures high quality Knitted fleece fabric in Cotton, Viscose cotton, Polyester cotton and Mélange in yarn count ranging from 16s to 40s. The factory is located in the heart of the City in SIDCO (Town) Industrial Estate comprising of 25000 sqft of area.

Mr, P.Gopi is also M.D of a joint Venture company with partnership of Asia;s largest Manufacturer of Circular Knitting Machines WELLKNIT of Taiwan, which produces more than 1500 sets of Various Circular knitting machines per annum. This type of venture is first of its kind in this area. Within a short period of incorporation the company has achieved the target of selling more number of machines in Tirupur market.

Mr, P.GOPI has wide experience in the textile field. He started his career in this industry as a fabric manager in LE-SHARK (INDIA). He served the company for 8 years and acquired knowledge in all type of knitted and woven fabrics. His flair for business, inbuilt entrepreneurial skill, business acumen and drive made him promote this GRACIOUS GROUP. He is relentlessly working not only for the growth and progress of his group companies but also for the growth and development of knitwear industry in Tirupur.

Being a young dynamic son of the soil he has a very good relationship and maintains cordial rapport with the entire knitwear fraternity of Tirupur. He holds key positions in service organizations.

1) Joint secretary – Knit cloth Manufactures Association.

2) Member - Executive Committee – Arbitration Council of Tirupur.

His determination and deterrence towards achieving the goal has projected his image well at the working platform catering to both industry and society.
