In order to meet the stringent international eco-norms, SOLO’s Process House has invested heavily on Pollution Control Equipment with most modern technology available in the country.
At present, the treatment of effluents undergoes various processes such as screening, equalization, pH reduction, Biological diffused aeration, secondary clarification, flocculation, primary clarification, ozonation, multigrade filtration and ultra filtration. Finally the treated water goes to three stage RO system, Nano filtration ans multiple effective evaporation where 99.6% water recovered and 0.4% Evaporator reject sent to solar ponds for solar evaporation.In this way we achieve Zero Liquid Discharges Norms. The recovered NF permeate is used in dyeing process as salt water and recovered RO water and Evaporator condensate are used for bleaching, washing, boiler makeup water and all over process.
