MUMBAI (Reuters) - The Indian government may request an interim dividend of around 300 billion rupees ($4.3 billion) from the Reserve bank of India (RBI) in order to meet its fiscal deficit target, Mint newspaper reported on Sunday citing news agency Press Trust of India (PTI).

NEW DELHI : The government may seek an interim dividend of about ₹30,000 crore from the RBI towards the end of the financial year to meet its fiscal deficit target of 3.3% of GDP for 2019-20, sources said.
